COURSE TITLE: ENERGY MANAGEMENT
Organizations and individuals constantly face the challenge of protecting their electrical equipment and prolonging their usage time, some of these machines are usually of critical importance and costly. Organizations face the urgent need to protect their valuable machines from poor quality power directly from the grid or alternate sources like diesel generators and solar installation.
In many organizations, the knowledge, skill and equipment to detect poor quality power and put in place measures to protect these valuable machines, while conserving energy and avoiding unnecessarily high energy costs of energy generation and distribution is limited or non-existent. This had led to high capital and recurring expenditure on power installations and equipment repair
This 5-day course provides a comprehensive and practical overview of the fundamentals of energy management, equipping participants with all the essential knowledge and skills they need to save energy, reduce operational & capital expenditures and carbon emissions while meeting their organizations’ goals of cost reduction.
It is essential for energy management professionals to have in-depth knowledge of energy risk identification, analysis planning, creating an efficient and effective power system that delivers organizational objectives. The course topics include Renewable Energy, Energy Auditing and Power Quality, Power Protection, Power Monitoring, as well as Introduction to Project Management.
